Dave Morse, who was heading up the product division, had everyone work without pay for a month. Apparently he had a history of doing this sort of thing, and once had actually pulled it off (Amiga). This time people stayed around mainly because the job market had dried up. There was nowhere else to go. Road tests The core product, the one that remained after all else had been cut in the interest of ASAP launching, was called Road Tests for Real People. The idea was to have a Flash interface to real road test data on different cars and trucks. So I built it for them, and it looked like this: |

It was fully functional, but it never launched. It's too bad; it included dynamic animation of the actual roadtests with little stopwatches and cars and animated roads. One prototype is still online at superfinedesign.com. |
